Patrick and I had a super relaxing and productive weekend. What wasn’t productive – were the amount of hours I spent watching the War & Peace miniseries. Anybody else hooked on it too!? {I do love some good historical fiction!}
Thanks to a well rested weekend, I’m ready to jump into Monday. Starting off by sharing one of my favorite & easy-to-wear everyday outfits.

So what makes this particular outfit easy-to-wear for everyday?
How about how unbelievably comfortable it is!
And the fact that it can go from running errands, (to the rodeo), to work, and to a casual happy hour.
I know, I know … not everybody can get away with wearing this to work. But an outfit such as this one is perfect for a spontaneous Saturday when you don’t know where the winds will take you, because it pretty much works for anything.
No apologies over here for the fact that I’m living in these Old Gringo boots!
Speaking of Texas & cowboy boots. We all know rodeo is coming in hot! Of course, this outfit would work perfectly for the occasion. 🙂
And as if this outfit didn’t need anymore Southwestern inspired additions, I went ahead and added a vintage looking silver and gemstone chunky bracelet.
This white “peasant” top (are they still called peasant tops!?) is from Free People. It definitely calls for a cami underneath because it is as sheer as can be!
PS: This top is now half off, so if you’re feeling like you can’t live without it (I sure can’t!)… you know what to do!

While we’re gearing up for Houston Rodeo, I’ve discovered I’ve unintentionally shot plenty of “rodeo inspired” outfits for you all. Turns out, I just wear cowboy boots on the regular and it’s really easy for me to call these sorts of outfits rodeo-ready. Kind of a win win!
So in other news, today I officially start my new position at work!! I am SO excited. I feel like I get to start my DREAM job and I am so greatful for this opportunity! I’ll be sharing more details on the blog all about it soon. 🙂
Hope you have all the coffee in the world this Monday morning! I may or may not already be on my second cup. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by the blog!
