I’m going to keep today’s blog post brief. Because I’m writing it just as I’m about to fly out the door for a day trip to Galveston! I know I should have put this little post together last night before I went to bed, but I made the mistake of starting Downton Abbey over from the beginning. And well, four episodes later it’s no surprise how that went!

We all know the tried and true rule of avoiding horizontal stripes on clothing for fear of them making you look larger. Especially after having a baby! Well, the opposite is true for vertical stripes. Vertical stripes have the added bonus of making you appear slimmer. Now that’s something that the taco-lover in me can get behind! I’d probably ramble a bit more today about really who knows what. That’s the joy of having your own blog, you can talk about whatever you’d like! But in approximately 17 minutes my friend Brittany will be here with her little girl to pick Annie and I up for a day trip to Galveston. The four of us have decided that every Wednesday we’re going to get together to do something, whether it be a walk around the park, lunch or an out of the ordinary road trip. Now that I’m working from home and not necessarily around loads of people day in & day out like I used to be, these Wednesday activities have become my favorite part of the work week!
