SHOP THIS EVEREVE LOOK:
I’ve been dressing more casual than ever lately. As a busy mom, it’s just so much easier to dress more comfortably. I do miss the simple joy I got out of wearing dresses & skirts to the office before Annie. But at this particular stage in her life, I much prefer scooting along the floor and playing with Annie in laid-back (yet stylish) attire. My new favorite place to find chic outfits for both crawling around, coffee dates with friends & even date nights out is Evereve. It is a boutique I just stumbled upon that is geared entirely towards MOMS! And it’s seriously SO amazing. Evereve just opened a location outside of Houston at Baybrook Mall and I had the best time visiting a few weekends ago.
More on this look + my thoughts on why every mama needs to shop at Evereve are below!
I would say that when I shop, I shop based off of emotion – not necessarily practicality. For example, a boho embroidered top can draw me in from across the store and I find I can’t live without it. Yet I always forget to scoop up those comfy casual basics. When I popped into Evereve, the sweetest Stylist chatted with me a bit about my style and what I was looking for that day. I wanted to find a casual but put together look that worked for spending the day at home or errands out. I usually never wear such basic pieces and I wanted to try that for once.
On the hangers, the tee, sweater & jeans seemed so simple to me. Probably not pieces I would have picked up on my own (because like I said – I typically shop based off emotion) but with the help of the team at Evereve, I slipped into literally the most comfortable outfit of all time! The Kut from the Kloth jeans felt SO amazing on, that I kid you not, I asked if I could wear them out of store instead of the jeans I came in wearing! 😉 (Style tip: size down in the jeans due to stretch.) I also typically only wear tennis shoes to the gym but I love how chic this New Balance pair looks with denim!

I love that the Evereve stylist in the store spent so much one-on-one time with me to get a true feel for what I was looking for. She also kept surprising me with pieces while I was in the dressing room that she thought I would swoon over. (She was totally correct every time!) I was encouraged to step out of my comfort zone and I wound up with an outfit I’ve worn dozens of times since I brought it home.
Another amazing aspect of shopping at Evereve? As it’s geared towards moms, it’s completely kid-friendly!! Patrick joined me and hung out with Annie on some beanbag chairs while the two of them played with TOYS! There is a little play area in the store & everything. There’s also a nook in the dressing rooms with books & snacks. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to shop with kiddos in tow! We will definitely be back … and SOON!
And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog & thank you to Evereve for sponsoring this post. All opinions are always my own.
