Last week I kicked off the summer season early with the most colorful pool party that I’ve ever attended! ALDI and the team behind the blog Sugar & Cloth sure know how to throw a party, y’all! Several of my favorite Houston bloggers and myself all toasted to the start of the warmest season of the year with delicious rosé at a colorful poolside bash. I’m sharing more deets on the event in today’s post. Plus, I’m letting you guys in on all of the amazing summer entertaining deals that are hitting the shelves of ALDI this season too!

After this festive event, I’ve decided that I don’t think I can ever go swimming again without a jumbo animal pool float! Especially when you can grab this adorable Unicorn Float on 6/6 for less than $20. I’m not sure who would have more fun playing on it in our house, Annie or myself!
Did you guys know that you can grab all of this from ALDI? Yum! I’ve been shopping at ALDI for years and years. Not only is it a great place to grab everyday groceries & more while saving time & money, but it’s also the perfect place to shop for everything you need to entertain. I love that the selection always changes a bit, but while also being consistent. For example, you can always find a wide array of delicious gourmet cheeses & crackers. But one week they could have a block of chili pepper cheddar and the next a sleeve of cranberry goat cheese. In case you haven’t noticed …. cheese is a prettttty big deal to me! 😉 And I love that I can always try something new from ALDI at a great price point too.
Naturally, I hung out at the buffet table for quiiiite a bit that evening! 😉
I could talk about cheese all day, y’all. But what goes better with cheese, than wine?! For summer sipping, ALDI has this Trestoria Rosé from California that is crisp & refreshing and a bottle is just $6.99, too. See what I mean about perfect for entertaining? Let’s grab a few while we’re at it!

Combine delicious cold drinks, DJ’s tunes and a gaggle of girls who haven’t seen each other in a while, and you get a really good time! So good that party guests start posing with the props!? Yep! From pineapples to oversized beach towels, it can all be found at ALDI. These towels are in stores now and are both huge and as soft-as-can-be too! I’m still so baffled that they’re only $8!
You guys can find me right here for the rest of the summer. All that is missing is a glass of rosé in hand, right!? (Didn’t trust my balancing act that much!)
