Memorial Day is only a few days away. Are you planning on wearing red, white and blue to celebrate this patriotic holiday!? I just jetted off to Wyoming for a quick trip but I’ll be back home by Sunday evening with enough time to enjoy cookouts & fireworks – a must over Memorial Day weekend. I always love the timeless feminine silhouettes their dresses come in and they are so well made that I know that they will last for years & years. This red, white and blue Eliza J pretty has been heavily on rotation in my wardrobe all spring long. It makes a perfect party dress for Memorial Day cookouts, 4th of July barbecues and mores!

On another topic, if you’ve been following along on instagram you might have noticed that I’ve just been all over the place lately! Let me tell you, this week has been a whirlwind. I spent Tuesday night with a few of my favorite bloggers and our kiddos in Waco to see Magnolia and visit the Dr. Pepper Museum.
We were all a bit nervous about how the trip was going to go. You can’t not be when traveling with toddlers. But I’m pleased to say it somehow went off without a hitch! The kids were all SO good, went to bed easily, slept through the night and didn’t even freak out during each of the 3 hour-long car rides. I still can’t believe it! Hope that this means more toddler trips are in our future?! We shall see!
Have you ever traveled with a group of fiends and your toddlers? I feel like everyone needs to try it at least once! Because if it goes smoothly, it makes for some extra-special memories!
