You never know what kind of weather you’re going to have in Houston. This week we’ve enjoyed the sunshine and upper 70s temperatures. A few weeks ago I was bundled up in sweaters while the weatherman shared potential freeze warnings! Typical Houston I suppose! Tell me Texans, do you struggle with dressing for the weather and the season this time of year?!

I spotted this pretty striped dress on Rent the Runway recently and knew that it would be just perfect for a few things I had going on this month. The colors are festive for the season and the short sleeves and lightweight fabric make it perfect for our mild climate. If it were a bit cooler, I imagine I’d style it with riding boots and a denim jacket. For a dressier look, it would be adorable with black heels and a leather jacket too! Today I styled it with open-heeled booties, this gorgeous wrap belt from ADA and a matching Rebecca Minkoff crossbody I’ve had for years (and that goes with practically everything in my wardrobe!)
