    Cheers to the most wonderful time of the year! We put our tree up earlier than we usually do and it’s making me just want to do ALL the festive things. Like … sip on holiday-themed cocktails all the while nestled on a blanket … beside my tree with a crackling fire on my tv nearby. Basically, just gimme all the cliché Christmas moments pretty please!

    My drink of choice is always a glass of red wine, but I’m spicing things up this season and putting a twist on it. I recently put together this Holiday Cranberry Sangria Cocktail with Master of Mixes and the recipe is in today’s post! More below ….

    Holiday Cranberry Sangria Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 4 oz. Sweet Red Wine
    • 2 oz. Master of Mixes Red Sangria Mixer
    • 1.5 oz. Brandy
    • Small Pinch of Orange Zest
    • Oranges
    • Cranberries

    Instructions

    1. Mix brandy, red wine, sangria mix, and orange zest in a shaker with ice.
    2. Pour into cocktail glass and garnish with cranberries and orange slices.

Master of Mixes Red Sangria Mixer includes just the right amount of spice and fruit flavorings to really enhance a good glass of red.  For a bit of something extra, I added a shot of brandy to my cocktail. Brandy is like a sweeter version of whiskey and has floral and citrus notes – naturally pairing deliciously with this combo!
