In the spirit of spring (and in the spirit of having done quite a bit of online shopping lately) I thought I’d round up a few of my favorite fashion finds for y’all, today. Now if only I could fill my online shopping cart with each and every one of these goodies I’m sharing. Wouldn’t that be fun?! But alas, extremely excessive. But if I can’t don them all – then maybe I can live vicariously through whoever does decide to shop the Spring style pieces I’m swooning over!?
Favorite Spring Style Pieces for the Season
Let me know what your Spring style favorites are in the comments below!
shop beautiful blue dresses
In the meantime, I wanted to share that I’ve been having a moment with Shopbop lately. But let me start by telling you why! If you’ve followed along for a while now, you might have noticed that I’ve been an Anthropologie girl through and through since I started this blog of mine. I still adore the whimsical boutique but I’ve begun branching out quite a bit – especially this past year.
For one, I feel my personal style has evolved and is no longer pigeon-holed into one “aesthetic,” if you will. Two, motherhood has drastically changed the way I shop. It’s very difficult to carve out time to visit my favorite stores in person and actually try on pieces without spending 95% of my visit playing chase with my two-year-old. Retailers who including free + super quick shipping fall high on my shopping list these days. Shopbop offers both which makes trying on clothing at home in front of my own mirror a breeze. Plus, their spring selection is seriously so amazing!!
With brands at every price point, it’s easy to browse Shopbop and get stuck crushing on a dress that’s more than your monthly mortgage. But at the same time, the site is filled with lovely looks at more affordable price points too. Sometimes all it takes is a little digging to find those gems! So I’ve done the work for ya and rounded up my current Shopbop favorites – all under $150 – below!
Shop Billowy Blouses
I love the idea of paring billowy blouses like these three with shorts and overalls this time of year. The extra fabric up top balances out a pair of shorts while the feminine details make overalls look a little less “country” too.
Shop Espadrilles for Everyday
You know what, I think I just might live in espadrilles this summer! Especially now that you can find espadrille slip-ons and sneakers that are more comfortable than fuzzy slippers. I’m swooning over these embroidered pairs & this sneaker style.
Shop Pink Midi Dresses
I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve never been much of a pink person when it has come to my wardrobe. However, all bets are off on my feelings toward this pastel hue this season! Maybe it’s the silhouettes this pretty shade of pink is coming in or I’ve just decided I’m embracing the color once and for all? Either way, I can’t get enough. And these three dresses above are just making me fall deeper in love!
Shop Playful Printed Midi Skirts
I’ve always been a skirts & dresses person over jeans when it comes to leaving the house (at home you can almost always find me in jeans & a tee!) With that being said, motherhood rocked my world and just like that my love for skirts & dresses came to a pause. Bending over to pick up a crawling baby followed by a rambunctious toddler while wearing a mid-thigh dress just did not make the most sense. Enter my obsession with the midi length. I can bend over, crawl on the floor and even play on the playground without fear of a fashion mishap!
Shopbop has so many gorgeous styles of skirts scattered about their site. These three options are all under $150 and come in bold prints that can easily be mixed and matched with tees, dressier blouses & more.
Shop Woven Bags to Wow This Season
To me, spring is the start of statement bag season. In the winter, I’m usually cold so I grab whatever is easy and happens to match my coat or boots. Come springtime, I love dressing up sundresses with playful woven and wicker bags. It seems like brands are getting more creative than ever with whimsical bags, bold structured woven bags, and even crochet crossbody bags. Now to narrow it down to just one or two to fill my closet this season!
