Sandal season starts early down here for us in Texas and you better believe I’ve been taking advantage of it since our first warm-weather day hit! With spring’s arrival comes beautiful weather and colorful blooms. Something about the ambiance of it all makes me feel more adventurous when it comes to fashion. I find I’ll step out of the house in an outfit that makes a statement even when I don’t have anything at all going on that day. (Beautiful weather will do that to ya!) One thing I don’t ever like to sacrifice when it comes to style, though, is comfort. So I’m so excited to be partnering with Sofft Shoes in this post to share my take on easy breezy chic spring style. More below!
Midi skirts. I love you. But seriously, the length of these statement skirts are the answer to my mom problems. They don’t hike up when I lift my tot to and fro. A midi skirt’s length comes with a classy sort of sophisticated appeal to it too. I always like to balance this longer length with a heeled shoe, preferably one not too high and not too low.
The Mauldin by Sofft Shoes is just that – comfortable platform wedge sandals that can be worn with any outfit. Of course, I prefer dresses and skirts most of the time but this pair is just darling paired with jeans and even denim shorts too! The Mauldin Wedges have a sleek criss-cross design that keeps your feet secure and comfortable. Made with real Italian leather, these beauties are a timeless pair of sandals to style all spring & summer long.
I dressed up my Mauldin Wedges for a day trip down to Galveston with the family. Now I’m thinking, how cute would this outfit be for a dinner out on the town after a long day spent soaking up the sun on the beach!? The answer, VERY!

I paired my simple white mini skirt with an embroidered off-the-shoulder top to add a bit of color to what would otherwise be a chic monochromatic look. Off-the-shoulder styles have been around for a few years now and one way I like to keep the trend fresh is to style it in unexpected ways. (Like tucked into a midi skirt or paired with denim overalls.)
This feminine and flirty spring & summer look is something I would dress up for brunch with the girls, an evening out on vacation or even to Annie’s end of the year class party next week. Oh my goodness, time sure does fly! I can’t believe we only have a week left of school! But that means it’s time for a summer vacation and everything wonderful that comes along with it!

Big thank you to Sofft Shoes for partnering with me on this post. It has been such a treat to be introduced to this brand, especially as I’m always on my feet these days chasing a toddler. Comfort is so key and I love that all Sofft Shoes have both amazing arch support and oh-so-comfortable footbed. All opinions are my own and thank you for supporting the brands that make Lone Star Looking Glass possible.
