Rodeo, Rodeo, Rodeo!
I have heard that word ALL over the city these past few weeks. But, I can’t complain, I happen to be quite the fan of the Houston Rodeo myself. Our second trip to the rodeo was just last weekend. We had family in town and we all spent the day browsing the livestock show, eating the most glorious of junk foods, and watching Alan Jackson perform his mega country music hits.
My favorite being, “It’s 5:00 somewhere!”

In my opinion, getting dressed up for rodeo is half the fun. Where else can you go in fringe, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and not stick out in the least bit? I absolutely love it.
When I saw this orange and white embroidered top from Anthropologie, I
knew it would be perfect to wear to the Houston Rodeo. (And pretty much
everywhere else for that matter!) I paired my new favorite top with my
Sahara Boots and was rodeo ready!

A few snaps from our day at the Houston Rodeo are below.
Shout out to my Houston
readers, have ya’ll had the chance to make it to the rodeo yet? If so, what did you enjoy seeing most and who were your favorite entertainers?

The last week of Rodeo started today, and I’m hoping to squeeze in a
few more shows before it’s all over. This certainly is a fun time of year to be living in Texas!
