Rodeo season may have come and gone, but by no means will I stop wearing my cowboy boots! There are so many different ways to dress up or down a pair of boots.  Most of of the time I pair them with sundresses or tuck my blue jeans into them.  Summer in Houston though, it gets hot hot hot so why not pair your boots with shorts too?

For this look, I paired these ruffled patterned shorts with a white lace-detailed silk top, both from WildBloom. These fun shorts are oh-so comfortable while being dressy enough for a night out on the town. I added cowboy boots and my Stetson hat to the mix for a perfect look for summertime in Texas. This would also make a great outfit for festival season. {Anyone here going to ACL or Coachella this year?}

Perhaps cowboy boots aren’t your thing? Nix the boots and throw on a pair of sky high black heels, add a few layering necklaces for a whole different way to style this adorable outfit.
