Well hello there fall!
This outfit just screams fall to me. The only things that I’m missing are a chunky knit scarf & a pumpkin spice latte. (I’m trying to hold off on the Pumpkin Spice until the temperature dips below at least 80 degrees.) The basic struggle is real.
I think it’s the whiskey color of both the shoes & my satchel purse that have me daydreaming of crisp weather, fall foliage & bonfires. I know that sounds ridiculous! But it’s usually this time of year where I start wearing my whiskey colored boots & … drinking whiskey infused drinks while sitting around bonfires.
Living in Texas, tall boot season and bonfires don’t arrive as quickly as they did back in Tennessee. That’s why I am loving these “New Earth” laser cut whiskey flats from Restricted Shoes at the moment. They’re doing for me what tall boots can’t right now – keeping me cool & stylish! Also, I’m going to toot their horn and let you guys know that these flats are RIDICULOUSLY comfortable.
I feel like that’s rare for the first time trying on a nice pair of flatts, you know? These pretties don’t even need breaking in. š
Iām also going to shout from the rooftops about how much I am in love with this whiskey colored satchel from Love 41! Stylish, yet practical, this is the perfect crossbody bag for toting my camera around town. (Which is something that I often do, blogger that I am.) With soft leather on the outside and beautiful natural raw leather on the inside, this bag is as stylish as it is functional.
Not a crossbody fan? This leather purse can also convert into a backpack. Perfect for travelling!
I expect to be wearing this lightweight swing dress with my comfy flats quite a bit while I wait for fall weather to come to Houston. (PS: the orange & white also works for Tennessee & Texas game days! Ironically both UTs rep shades of orange. It’s pretty convenient!)
{I’ve linked similar bell sleeves dresses & rancher hats below if you care to shop:}
Who else is ready for the weekend?! I’m adjusting to the fact that Summer Fridays (half days) at the office have come to an end. Those four extra hours added on to each weekend were oh-so amazing. (They were mostly spent Netflix binging or out shopping, so it’s probably a good thing that I’ll be more productive with that time now … or at least that’s what I tell myself.)
Here’s to a relaxing & low key weekend! (Much needed after last week’s bachelorette extravaganza) Wishing y’all a fun weekend too!
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog.
