Can you feel it!? Spring is in the air! My yard has changed from a lawn of crinkly straw to a beautiful and soft green. Flower buds are starting to pop up all over and trees are blooming in shades of white, pink and green everywhere I turn. It certainly is a refreshing time of year after the cold and bleak winter we had. I always feel invigorated come spring time. We start spending more time outdoors, hanging out with friends and life is just a little bit more enjoyable with warmer weather thrown in. Today, I’m sharing this adorable (under $55) sundress + my Spring Bucket List – which basically is just a random list of activities, goals & dreams that would be fun to accomplish this colorful season.
Shop the Look:
My love affair with stripes knows no bounds and this striped sundress is no exception. It has a fresh take on the off-the-shoulder trend and is classy enough for any occasion. From brunch, happy hour, a cocktail party or even a garden party (or even just a Wednesday lunch date with your hubby) this dress can go anywhere! I often have to remind myself to choose to wear a sundress as opposed to jeans or leggings during the workweek. After all, my closet is filled with them and it would be a waste not to! Once I do get dressed up, even for the more simple occasions, the day just seems that much more special. Do you ever feel the same?
I styled this look with these adorable rose gold espadrilles from Seychelles. They even remind me of something that Allie would have worn in The Notebook. Timeless & chic! My Alice Tote from Clare V was the best purse purchase I’ll probably have made in 2018. I wear it all the time. I love that it not only holds my everyday necessities but I can also throw my big camera in there along with Annie’s shoes, juice pouches, a book and more. It comes in black too & I have a feeling you’ll be seeing this style bag all over the place this season!
My Spring Bucket List:
They say that if you write something down AND say it out loud you’re statistically much more likely to actually do said thing. So without further ado, I’m writing down all of the activities I wish to partake in this spring! (And then I’ll say them out loud too!)Visit a bluebonnet field.
Visit a bluebonnet field
Watch Annie Easter egg hunt
Spring clean all of the closets in my home (Patrick, are you excited!?)
Go to the farmer’s market
Enjoy live music somewhere
Picnic at Herman Park
Take Annie on multiple bike rides

What are your favorite things to do come springtime!? And do you ever make similar bucket lists for yourself – whether yearly, seasonal or once in a blue moon? They’re always so much fun to look back and check off!
