Statement Shoes for Spring

I’m all about statement pieces, whether they be bags, tops, dresses or skirts. But one statement piece I love most of all!? Statement SHOES! Give me a pair of flats or heels with a little something extra and I’m almost always swooning. But sometimes statement shoes can be hard to style with your everyday outfits. Which is why I love these neutral statement flats from Restricted Shoes. More on why they stand out from the crowd below!

PS: Readers can now grab any pair of shoes from Restricted Shoes for 25% off with the code LONESTARLG25. Enjoy!

embroidered flats // green handbag // outback hat // jeans // lace top // beaded necklace

The colorful embroidery in these Gypsy Flats has enough spring shades throughout that they’ll match with so many different pieces in my wardrobe. (I particularly love how they look with my green handbag!) I think that these flats also polish off a simple lace tee and jeans like no other. As you can probably tell through many of my recent style posts, I can’t resist topping off a look with a hat and this Outback hat I’ve got on matches my flats just perfectly. It’s definitely a mix of styles but I love the way they look together!

Restricted Shoes has SO many cute pairs for spring. I can’t get over these adorable blue gingham bow slides and these slip-on Harlem flats that have the same embroidered details as mine do above. I’m thinking it’s definitely time for a closet overhaul in my house – switching out boots and booties for flats & sandals! Nothing beats a closet refresh, especially one for spring!

In other news, we shot these photos in front of the most delicious ice cream shop in The Houston Heights. It’s called Cloud 10 Creamery and if you live in the area you’ve got to try! Now that the weather is warming up, why not don your favorite spring outfit and step out for some ice cream? Sounds like a fun plan to me!

Big thank you to Restricted Shoes for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own. & Thanks to you guys for supporting the brands that make Lone Star Looking Glass possible.
