A Dress Designed for Traveling

Texas fashion blogger styles Anthropologie's Cityscape Dress.

Do you ever see a piece of clothing and think to yourself, “That is absolutely perfect to wear to XYZ?” Maybe it’s a wedding, maybe it’s a special event or maybe it’s your next getaway. My thoughts often linger on the latter. This darling dress I’m styling today is just begging me to be whisked away on a Mediterranean European adventure. (If only!!) But I love it when a piece of clothing can make me feel a certain way or be inspired to do something. Maybe that just happens to me? Tell me if you’re the same way too!

This dress from Anthropologie is aptly named the Cityscape Dress and I just love its darling whimsical print. It’s a midi dress on me but could certainly be worn as a maxi on someone shorter or if the straps were loosened. (Just in case you were curious, I’m 5’6″.) I paired the dress with these pretty unique heels from one of my favorite shoe brands: Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn. I love that their collection always come in styles you don’t see anywhere else. And y’all, I could walk a mile in these shoes they are so comfortable! Last but not least, I wanted to mention this Fossil Ryder Mini Satchel bag. How fun is this bright blue color for summer? I’ve been a fan of Fossil for years and their handbags are so well-made and last for years & years.

Keeping this post short and sweet today! I’m off to go play in Annie’s new kitchen. She is completely in rapture by it! Did you see my post on instagram about it? I still can’t get over the price tag ($112!) compared to its Pottery Barn Counterparts that are $528. That’s just crazy y’all! Anywho, hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!
