Happy weekend, y’all! I’ve been busy playing catch up since my trip to Wyoming and am finally able to sit down and get a styled post up on the blog. I mean … I probably could have fit it in somewhere during the last few days, but after being away from Annie for the long weekend playing with her and trips to the neighborhood pool took priority above all else! And that’s how it should be. 😉
Today, I’m sharing this sweet and simple summer look with this adorable embroidered skirt by Boden that I’m absolutely swooning over. More below!
This skirt has an oversized ruffled hem and is decorated with the most gorgeous red embroidered details. I love how it looks styled above, dressed down with an easy gray tee. But it would also look just as adorable styled with a crisp white top like this one or this flutter sleeve one. And don’t you think this Boden embroidered skirt would make a great statement piece to wear on Fourth of July too!?
Shop the Look:
Styled it with my favorite hat (more deets on why this hat is so special to me in this post) and this Cult Gaia bamboo bag knock-off that I found for less than $35 on Amazon! Who doesn’t love a steal so good? Especially on something so trendy.

In non-fashion related news, we just joined our neighborhood pool and everytime I’m there I feel like I’m in my own sort of paradise! The baby pool and splash pad are completely shaded. So even when it the temps are touching 100 degrees, Annie and I feel completely cool while splashing around. Last year, she was a bit too young to enjoy pool days with her mama. So this pool season just feels more exciting than ever! On that note, I’m going to wrap up this blog post so we can head that way!
