A fabulous pair of cowboy boots is never out of season! But come fall and winter, I’m wearing my boots 85% percent of the time. (To be precise, lol.) In the warmer months, sometime’s it’s like I’ll completely forget about them. Does this happen to you!? But when I remember, “Oh yeah, I can wear my cowboy boots with that!” … I’ll wear them for a week straight!

The most obvious tip on styling cowboy boots for summer is to pair them with a dress. I’ll dress my boots up with both short sundresses and midi-length dresses too. If I’m going to a casual brunch, pairing boots with a bit of a dressier sundress tones down the look. For example, this dress styled in today’s post could be too dressy when paired with heels for lunch with the girls at a casual Mexican restaurant. Throw on my boots, and I fit right in!

On 4th of July, you can basically pair ANYTHING with your cowboy boots and get away with it. It’s like their unofficial holiday … what’s more American than cowboy boots?! For holidays and outdoor activities, I’ll dress mine down with jean shorts, a button-down tied at the waist and a bandana scarf to accessorize. Now to just turn on some country tunes and I’m set!
