I still remember when booties were the “new thing.” Does that make me old? Probably … but in the past decade or so booties have become a mainstream staple to fall and winter wardrobes everywhere. I’m always so impressed, year after year, seeing the new spins shoe designers are putting on their booties. Just when I think my closet couldn’t squeeze one more pair of booties inside of it, I see a new style or silhouette that has me utterly swooning … and that I can’t possibly live without! Yes, I have a shoe addiction, y’all! #NoShameinMyShoeGame
I’ve noticed this year that I’ve gotten more comfortable than every styling my favorite pairs of boots and booties. I’ve been pairing tall shaft riding boots with maxi dresses (something I probably would never have tried this time last year) and I’m also loving the taller shaft ankle booties, like these Torrance black leather booties above from Comfortiva. This shoe rises a bit higher than your typical ankle black leather booties giving it a bit of “edge” and endless opportunities of styling. More on these black leather booties and how I’m styling them below!
You might recognize my Comfortiva Torrance booties from this blog post I shared two weeks ago. I liked these pretty booties so much I grabbed them in both black and tan! (See how I styled them with jeans here.) The floral embossed detailing along the sides of these booties give off bohemian western vibes, reminding me of vintage boots you’d probably find in an eclectic boutique in Austin, Texas. (If you haven’t been to Austin before … they have some great vintage shops that are one-of-a-kind!)

While vintage boots sound all “hip & cool” nothing beats the modern technology that comes with a pair of shoes from Comfortiva. Comfortiva’s shoes feature a Pillowtop® Memory Foam Footbed that is designed to surround your feet in optimum comfort. Sounds good to me!! So if you’re planning on heading out to a festival, concert or event that’s got you on your feet all day, these booties are the one for you!
Speaking of events, Patrick and I headed up to The Woodlands this weekend for their Art Crawl and Craft Beer Tasting. The weather was absolutely amazing and it felt so good to get out of the house and explore a new part of town together. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready to kick off your Monday in style!
Big thank you to Comfortiva for sponsoring this post and providing me with these oh-so-comfy kicks! As always, all opinions are my own. Thanks so much for supporting the brands that make Lone Star Looking Glass possible!
