Come August, I start thinking all about fall fashion. The sweaters I’ll wear in a few months. The cozy plaid button downs I can’t wait to pair with jeans. Well the reality is, fall is a long long way away for us Texas folk. So I’m reminding myself to soak up summer today in this adorable printed mini dress.
Styling this darling summer dress from LoveShackFancy below and giving y’all a little life update! I can’t believe I haven’t posted on here in a solid week. That is just not normal for me … chatting about why below!
This printed mini dress is another favorite find by LoveShackFancy. I discovered this brand through Rent the Runway and I’ve been determined to rent every piece from their collection with my unlimited membership. I remember seeing this one and thinking, wow that’s a little short for me! But when it came in, the lightweight breezy fabric and beachy vibes of this dress had me swooning. I wore it more in a one week span that I even wear my favorite jeans!

It’s cute not only for a day at the beach but great for summertime travel too, especially when the temps are at an all-time high. I liked this floral frock so much I even recently rented it in black too. I’ve seen similar styles by this brand available in shades of pink and blue. Now to pick my favorite and scoop it up permanently!

I still can’t believe I haven’t hit publish on a blog post in one whole week. Who am I!? I’ve been all over instagram, that’s for sure. Last week, my mom came to town to spend time with me and Annie. We headed down to New Orleans where I partnered with Bienville House, a beautiful hotel in the French Quarter.
We crammed in so much sightseeing to our days that there was hardly time for anything else once we came back to our hotel each night. So that’s the reason why I’ve been a bit absent on my site. Later this week, I’ll be headed to The Blog Societies Conference in Atlanta with a little road trip to follow. I’ll definitely be learning from this experience and planning a bit of content in advance too! So be sure to pop in and see what’s new!
And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
