Sure, I get to share my daily looks here and on Instagram but for the most part, my neighborhood has become my own personal runaway with afternoon walks my only chance for playing dress up in life’s current climate. I may be a bit overdressed at times strolling up and down my block but one thing that I never sacrifice for the sake of style is comfort.

Even if I wasn’t six months along in my pregnancy, I have a feeling flowy house dresses and practical flats would still make up my outfit of choice these days. I’ve been drawn to “house dresses” made of lightweight linen, soft cotton, and breathable materials to keep me cool in the summer sun. My daily walks around the neighborhood are the number one thing that keeps me from feeling restless while isolating at home. I’ve ditched my summer wedges and heels for the most part for festive flats that keep my feet feeling snug, secure, and comfortable for our afternoon walking adventures.
Just because I’ve been stuck at home doesn’t mean I haven’t stopped shopping, though! Online shopping has felt easier than ever in recent months and I love being able to shop by specific categories, styles, colors and more. I still can’t believe I am 25 weeks along! This pregnancy is flying by, which makes sense with how much we’ve had to distract ourselves with during these last several months. Keeping a good routine has been key and we’ve been so thankful for the beautiful weather lately that has enabled us to go on so many strolls around the neighborhood!
