I’m in what feels like the home stretch with my pregnancy and the anticipation of baby boy’s arrival is REAL! Knowing I only have 10ish more weeks with this baby bump and all its kicks is somewhat bittersweet. I know life is about to change dramatically and I’m here for it but also savoring these sweet slow days with Annie at the same time. I’ve also definitely embraced my maternity fashion game in recent weeks and can’t wait to share even more looks with y’all the bigger I get knowing that the countdown is on!

So today, I’m sharing a 30 Weeks Pregnant Bumpdate and highlighting a few recent maternity finds that have made this pregnancy feel all the smoother. I’m also styling this darling white dress in a field of sunflowers … because why not?!

A White Eyelet Sundress for Summer

This beautiful white eyelet midi sundress I’m styling in the sunflowers today is a recent Chicwish find. If you’ve been following along for a while, you’ll know I’ve been a Chicwish shopper for years now! They have a great collection of feminine, eclectic, bohemian, and elegant pieces you don’t often see anywhere else usually always under $100 too. This dress caught my eye with its empire waist and gorgeous eyelet details. It was a risk to order a non-maternity piece so far along in my pregnancy but a risk that totally paid off! The dress fits my bump perfectly and the fabric is lightweight & comfortable enough for a hot and humid summer day in The South too.

This week we got to see the baby at our 3D ultrasound appointment. Every time I hear the heartbeat at the doctor’s office I automatically tear up, but it was extra-special this time around because Patrick was finally able to visit the doctor with me. Baby boy only showed us a little snippet of his face during the ultrasound, as he was much too busy grabbing his toes right and playing right in front of his face. I’m not at all disappointed that we didn’t get a good glimpse because seeing his face in person will be surprising enough in just two months.

30 Weeks Pregnant Bumpdate

Baby is the Size of: a head of cabbage and roughly 3 and a half pounds. My doctor told me I should expect him to gain a half-pound each week until delivery. I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of looking forward to all of the guilt-free delicious food I get to pack on these next few weeks to grow baby in the homestretch!

Feeling: Honestly, pretty good! Maybe that is because I had a B12 vitamin this morning which has given my day a bit of a boost? I’ve also really upped my water intake after getting too dehydrated on our beach trip and experiencing one too many Braxton Hicks. More water is always a good idea! I’ve been taking it pretty easy, for the most part, these last few days too.

Food Cravings: Cereal. Cereal. Cereal. I feel like I am going to be putting Honey Nut Cheerios out of business at the rate I go through their jumbo size cereal boxes!

Looking Forward to: Sept. 27th!! I’m also looking forward to mid-August because some of my sweet life long friends will be throwing baby boy a drive-by *sprinkle!* If you’re not familiar with a sprinkle (I was actually only introduced to it in recent years too) it’s a much smaller baby shower for a second baby. A lot of times people will throw them if the babies are spaced a bit further out or if a mom is expecting a different gender. We are fortunate to have so many baby necessities leftover from Annie’s newborn days but have been a bit overwhelmed transitioning to all things boy. I feel so blessed that our family and friends are going to celebrate us with a drive-by sprinkle in anticipation of his arrival! Plus, it will be a treat to see so many smiling faces we love from their car windows after being in quarantine for so long.

Favorite Maternity Finds: I actually just ordered a few pairs of maternity pajamas a couple of weeks ago and let me just tell you, maternity pajamas are life-changing. My oversized tees were starting to get a little too snug for sleeping. I’ll be chatting much more in-depth about one particular brand I’m loving right now, Kindred Bravely, on the blog tomorrow. But I also wanted to mention Storq too!

This classic 3-piece lounge set from Storq is honestly beyond dreamy. It is designed to take wearers from their final days of pregnancy well into nursing and beyond too. I have the gray set and when I wear it around the house I feel so fancy even though the design is so simple! (That’s probably because I’m so used to sleeping in Patrick’s old tees, let’s be honest ha!) I’ll definitely be packing this set in my hospital bag and I anticipate living in it in the days and weeks to follow baby’s arrival. And while I’m chatting about Storq, I also scooped up their Belly Oil to try and am in LOVE. Up to this point, I’ve only ever used the popular Palmer’s lotion to nourish my skin and avoid stretch marks. This sweet-smelling rose oil feels just as moisturizing and is designed as an all-natural relief for dry or itchy skin.

Stay tuned for more talk on maternity loungewear tomorrow! And as always, thank you for stopping by Lone Star Looking Glass and following along in our adventures.

xo, alice
