Are you shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year? I know this highly anticipated annual sale has been a hot topic on Instagram lately, for a number of reasons. For starters, there’s no other sale like the #NSale. Pre-season goodies deeply marked down before the start of the season instead of the end? Yes, please!
Typically, the sale is open exclusively to Nordstrom card holders for a few weeks in advance of the public sale. This year, the pre-shop sale dates were divided into tiers based on your cardholder “status” with Nordstrom.
2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The sale opens to the public on Wednesday, August 19th.
I personally am not a cardholder. I’ve always shopped the sale when it opens up to everyone. Even though the sale is shopped quite a bit before this date, there are still oodles of deals that can always be found. I’ve personally scooped up some amazing finds on public access day and if you’re hankering to shop then as well, I’m sure you’ll be able to too!
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Fall Clothing to Fall in Love With
Raise your hand if you’re ready for sweater weather! (Me!!) A few pre-season items I have my eye on when the sale goes live tomorrow are linked above. Neutral great quality sweaters are always a good item to shop during this sale. (I am loving this grey one!) It’s also a great time to invest in a winter coat for half the price, prior to the start of the season. This Free People Teddy Coat looks oh-so-soft and like it would go with just about everything.
I’m planning on living in classic plaid button downs come fall too. Not only are they a closet staple for me, but they will be great to have on hand when it comes to nursing a new baby. I love this blue one, deeply discounted, by Rails!
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Stylish Shoes & Accessories on Sale
What style of shoe have you been living in lately? I have a feeling I will personally be avoiding higher heels or super statement making shoes this coming season. Again, heels with a new baby in my arms just doesn’t mix. And after months of staying close to home, I’ve really embraced the whole “comfort is key” when it comes to my wardrobe staples. I’m loving these lower heeled mules as a great alternative to higher heeled shoes. They’re easy to slip on, have extra support and dress up a simple pair of jeans and a sweater in an instant!
The Best Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Finds
How often do you replace your beauty must-haves? I sometimes wait for mine to run dry and then scramble at the last minute trying to replace my favorites. The Anniversary Sale’s beauty finds are SO good that I’m tempted for once to stock up in advance so I can replenish my go-tos in an instant. Like this set by NARS – so good! I will probably only use NARS blush in orgasm for the rest of my life. That’s a bold statement … but I can’t resist the color & texture. Urban Decay’s All Nighter setting spray is also ah-mazing! I spritz it on every day to keep my make-up in place. This set currently on sale is a steal and I love that it comes with a travel option for any impromptu getaways.

Remember, you don’t have to shop the sale just because everyone on the internet is talking about it this week. There are oodles of good sales out there at so many other places and this is just another one, albeit a good one! I’m merely sharing some of my favorites today in case you are planning on shopping and would enjoy a little inspo!
