Who else is ready for some turkey this Thursday!? We’re headed out of town to celebrate the holiday with family all across The South. I plan on packing cozy sweaters, festive plaids, lots of denim and a few fall maxi dresses too. Now to find the time to actually pack that suitcase before we leave is the real challenge!

I often size up one to be safe too. But by reading the reviews and doing some digging, I’ve found some amazing pieces at price points that are just astounding.
This plaid ruffled blouse for example? It’s only $18! I styled it with high-waisted blue jeans, a simple Kendra Scott stunner that makes a statement, and low-heeled mules by Nisolo. These mules are so great for dressing up a simple everyday look! And shout out to this hobo crossbody bag from Patricia Nash. I’m typically a smaller purse type of person, but carrying this beauty around has been life-changing. Sometimes I’ll use it instead of my camera bag and diaper bag too!

It’s the official kick-off to the holiday season and celebrating it someplace different makes it extra-special. Now come Christmas Day, I loooove spending that one in the comforts of my own home! There’s nothing quite like waking up to your very own Christmas tree now is there?!
