Shopping Your Favorite Brands for Less!
I don’t know if it’s the high I’m still riding from our Ireland trip or seeing the plaid kilts on Outlander every Saturday night this fall … but I’m having a serious thing with plaid skirts this season! (Did you catch this midi style I recently shared!?) When I saw this Free People midi skirt, I immediately fell absolutely in love! Styling this plaid gem below and chatting about how to score current Free People finds for a whole lot less … below!
This midi length pencil skirt boasts a high slit on its side that keeps it from looking anything too “stiff & conservative.” Not that that’s a bad thing, but I feel like the slit makes the skirt seem just a bit more fun and youthful. I paired it with a vintage-inspired Johnny Cash tee that I found at my local Target for only $15! (What a steal!!) And to keep the look from being too tomboy, I styled it with a pair of black bow-trimmed heels from Bernardo. This pair comes in the style and silhouette of a bootie which makes them all the more comfortable.. Not going to lie, this is an outfit I want to wear every single day this fall! It’s dressy and casual at the same time and the plaid colors in the skirt are perfect for this festive season.

This skirt was a recent Rent the Runway Unlimted find and I just don’t know if I have the heart to send it back! The great thing about Rent the Runway Unlimted is that if you fall in love with something that you currently have at home, you can opt to buy it off the site for a discounted price. So … if I really wanted to keep this skirt forever & ever (I’m SO tempted!!) I can grab it for $67 as opposed to the $98 it is currently retailing at Free People. It may have been worn a few times, but the condition is just like new. Pretty good deal, eh!? Same goes for just about everything on Rent the Runway’s site too.
