SHOP MY VALENTINE’S DAY LOOK:
Do you have big plans for Valentine’s Day on February 14th this year? Next Friday will be here before we know it. While we don’t have any big romantic plans in place, we are going to celebrate the day and do a little something special for Annie. She’s out of school that day for Parent – Teacher conferences, so I’m thinking a Valentine’s Day brunch out on the town is in order! We’ll both be dressed in our pink, wearing our hearts on our sleeves, that’s for sure!
Speaking of dressing for the day, I’m rounding up my favorite finds from my favorite place to shop – you guessed it – Anthropologie! I always love their blend of eclectic, bohemian, feminine well-made and exquisite pieces. They never seem to disappoint me, year after year. I‘ve scoured their site for the best of the best when it comes to all things pretty, pink & perfect for Valentine’s Day!
What to Wear on Valentine’s Day: Anthropologie Favorites
What to Wear on Valentine’s Day?
I’m not usually a pink person, but this time of year I turn into one. I picked up this pretty pink maxi skirt from Anthro this December and knew it would be perfect for our Valentine’s Day and our Disney trip. It’s a lightweight skirt & so versatile – especially for the warm weather that is *hopefully* to come!
This simple red dress is a classic piece and can be worn year-round while this boho floral red maxi dress makes such a statement! Depending on the weather this Valentine’s Day, you could style this bold pink & gold skirt or this textured coral skirt with either chunky sweater and booties – or a tank and wedges.
Don’t forget to accessorize, from headbands to statement earrings and even pink satin shoes or floral sneakers, Anthropologie always has the best showstopping accessories!

Our Romantic (Belated) Valentine’s Day Plans
While I don’t have big grand romantic plans with Patrick on Valentine’s Day, that’s not because we don’t wish to celebrate. We’re headed to Disney World the following Sunday – so a grand night out just two days before seemed a tad excessive. I’m beyond excited for our family trip to Disney (I’ll be sharing more details on our plans soon!) We’ll be there over a week and we’ve even made a reservation for an “Adults Only” dinner during our trip – aka a belated Valentine’s Day date night. I’ll have to pack something pink or red for our special night out! Disney seems to be so great about accommodating every member of the family and even encourages parents to get a little alone time during their travels too. It’s going to be such an adventure and I’m counting down the days!
