Tuesday! I’m back to blogging on a regular basis after my much needed
week off. Life has gotten oh-so-crazy lately and I am ready
to just sit back, relax & enjoy the ride.
Today
I’m sharing my favorite look for fall, or what I would like to call – my
fall uniform. There is something about plaid paired with boots and a floppy hat that
just screams fall to me. All I need is a pumpkin spice latte in hand, and I’m set for the season. (Well, the 75°+ fall season that is Houston, Texas.)
Actually, truth be told, I’ve only had one PSL this year. 😉 I need to just embrace that fall in Texas means palm trees and wearing shorts everyday, with the occasional cool weather thrown in for good measure. You can still decorate with pumpkins and make chili in the crock pot when it’s hot out, right?
Although … I’m giving the pumpkin sitting on my front porch just one more week. I think he is dying a slow and painful death soaking up the Texas sun like he is. Next year, I must remember to invest in some plastic ones. 🙂
But enough of my rambling, here is a bit of fall fashion inspiration for ya today:
You may recognize these Ariat Boots from Cavender’s that I posted about yesterday. Well I can’t seem to stop wearing them, and quite frankly, I don’t plan to! They are so comfortable, go with anything boots. I also love the western touches that set them apart from the normal tall brown boots you see pulled out of closets this time of year.
