I love the idea of throwing my hair up in a crown braid (find my tutorial here) putting on a pair of statement earrings & styling this maxi dress for a night out on the town whilst on a beach vacation. As I type this (Sunday afternoon) I’m currently chilling at the Corpus Christi airport until my flight leaves for Houston. My trip to the Texas Gulf Coast with Texas Tourism was an absolute dream! (In case you missed it, check out my highlight reel here on insta.) I feel like we did a little bit of everything these past few days – which is no surprise I’m exhausted from all the fun! Andd ready to be home, sitting on my couch with a glass of wine in my hand and Patrick by my side. My flight doesn’t leave for a few hours, so until then I’m working away and getting everything done so I can spend Monday cuddling & playing with Annie. Oh, how I’ve missed her!!
I’ll elaborate on the subject later, but for now, I want to say that I was sincerely blown away by the TX gulf region!! I had no idea that only three hours from Houston I could feel an entire world away. The water down here is a beautiful shade of blue and crystal clear and just begging to be dived into. I grew up going to Florida beaches and I feel like my world has been rocked that there is a beach just as lovely & so much closer to my own front door! Have any of you guys been down to the Texas Gulf Coast before? If so, what are your favorite spots to visit!?
