One of my favorite things about living in Houston is that there is SO much going on in the city and its surrounding areas. It’s impossible to be bored living in this part of Texas because there always is something special to be found. Speaking of something special, The Woodlands is hosting an Art Crawl and Craft Beer Tasting event at Hughes Landing next weekend. It’s an event you will not want to miss! I’m sharing all the details on this upcoming festival and why foodies and families will love it below!
The Woodlands is a master planned community that sits about 40 minutes north of Houston. This bustling suburb has an incredible restaurant scene, shopping that rivals any major metropolitan city and gorgeous homes nestled along tree-lined drives. The charming one-of-a-kind feel of The Woodlands makes this community seem like it’s a world away from Houston as opposed to a drive away.
And whenever I do make the drive up north I can always tell upon my arrival that the members of The Woodlands community are so proud to call this place home. You can see it in how they take care of their community with its lakes, waterways, and winding roads that make you feel like you’re in the middle of a forest as opposed to a suburb boasting 116,000 residents. And one thing that The Woodlands does really well!? Is celebrate! (I’ve been to a few festivals and concerts up here and have always had an absolute blast!)
On November 3rd, The Woodlands is celebrating the arts and entertainment with oodles of food too at The Woodlands Art Crawl and Craft Beer Tasting.
The Art Crawl & Craft Beer Tasting will take place from 2-5 pm on Restaurant Row at Hughes Landing.
The Woodlands is welcoming families and friends to tour the four new art benches and numerous sculptures that are currently decorating Hughes Landing. With a $15 admission, visitors can stroll the street sampling tasty treats from the different restaurants dotting the row all while sipping on up to 5 different samplings of craft beer too. The art is free for everyone to enjoy and a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Woodlands Arts Council, going directly back into this colorful community.
Hughes Landing is a newer development in The Woodlands, offering residents and visitors upscale eateries with one-of-a-kind shopping nestled amongst popular retailers such as Pier 1 Imports and Whole Foods Market.
Situated on the waterfront, the restaurants on Restaurant Row have back patios with waterfront views that make for a night out on the town that is extra special. I’ve visited Hughes Landing before and have had dinner overlooking the water. It’s such a fun experience, and I am so excited to be heading back so soon with Patrick and Annie!
If you’re headed up here for the festival, be sure to pop in one of the many cute boutiques either before or after The Art Crawl. KB Kasuals is one of my favorites! It’s a precious little boutique where I can find a cute top for me and a darling dress for Annie at the same time!

Look no further for something fun to do with the family on November 3rd from 2-5 pm! You can grab your tickets to The Woodlands Art Crawl & Craft Beer Tasting right here. I’ll see you guys in this very spot pictured above next weekend! I’m sure at that time, it’ll be filled with music and a big crowd too.

Thank you so much to The Woodlands for sponsoring this post. My family is so excited about the upcoming event, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. As always, all opinions are my own. Thanks to you all for supporting the brands that make Lone Star Looking Glass possible.
